Set out from Sliema aboard the Mv Kataleya or Mv Lady Shelley for a full-day cruise to Gozo and Comino. Choose the optional minibus to Qala Belvedere and Victoria, then swim or sunbathe at the Blue Lagoon before seeing Comino’s caves. Captain-led commentary, a water slide, bathrooms, and onboard food service make this an easy way to cover Malta’s sister islands.

Set out from Sliema Ferries for a 90-minute cruise through Marsamxett and Grand Harbours. You’ll pass Valletta’s bastions, Fort St. Elmo, the Three Cities, shipyards, marinas, and historic forts while an English audio guide explains Malta’s past. The boat has shaded and open seating, but large bags, pets, and wheelchairs are not allowed.

Take a five-hour powerboat trip from Sliema with Captain Tony and deckhand Raphael. Swim at Crystal Lagoon, stop at Comino Blue Lagoon, visit Ħalfa Rock near Gozo, and cruise past Comino’s caves. A shaded boat, free masks, and a small-group feel make this a lively way to see Malta’s coast.
“We had a great time on the boat with Tony and about 20 other guests. Tony’s deckhand Raphael was friendly, helpful and efficient. They both had a great sense of humour and made sure we had a fun time. The snorkeling was awesome, enough time at each place to enjoy the beautiful scenes and the communication from Tony onboard was excellent. Excellent value for money for a better experience at the same sites compared to the bigger boats!”
Cruise from Sliema to Gozo, ride by minibus to Victoria and the Citadel, then sail to Comino for about 90 minutes at the Blue Lagoon. This is mainly transport with free time, not a guided walking tour. The boat has toilets, a cash bar, commentary, and a water slide.

Spend a full day cruising Malta’s northern coast, with about two hours in Gozo and two hours at Comino’s Blue Lagoon. The modern, air-conditioned catamaran has Wi-Fi, toilets, a bar, and indoor seating. This is an independent ferry trip, not a guided tour, so plan your own time and transport in Gozo.
“Air con boat. Searched for seats as people using seats for their luggage (annoying for families)! Went on Hop on Hop off bus in Gozo, tight on timings to return to our boat but made it. They were counting people on and off thankfully. Gozo was pretty and info on bus was clear. Blue lagoon was a little disappointing as so busy and Onky day we could go. Booked speed boat into caves. Waited for 2nd boat which lessened time in sea before returning to return to Malta. Glad we did it but wouldn’t book speed boat as caves was not too impressive (seen better)!Read more”
Board the red 20-metre catamaran at Sliema Ferries for a 90-minute cruise through Marsamxett Harbour and the Grand Harbour. You will see Valletta, Vittoriosa, Senglea, and Cospicua from the water, with English and German commentary, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a cash bar. Arrive early for the best outside seats.

Sail from Sliema on The Fernandes, a traditional Turkish gulet, for a full day around Malta, Comino, and Gozo. You get two swim stops, buffet lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, and unlimited beer, wine, water, and soft drinks. The Blue Lagoon access pass is now required if you plan to go ashore.
“It was the best day of our trip. Everything was just perfect. On the boat you had plenty of space to stay in the sun, then you make 2 swim stops, one for 2 hours and another for aproximatly 1 hour. The food was ok, there was 2 snacks before and after the lunch. The music and the atmosphere was something out of this world. You also have bere and wine included in the ticket so basically you have all what you need for a good day at the see. I would recomand this cruise to anyone.”
Spend eight hours seeing Gozo from a chauffeured 4x4 buggy. Guides such as Mo, Natasha, George, and Michelle lead you through villages, valleys, salt pans, Dwejra, Xlendi, and the Citadel. Lunch, wine, transfers, and ferry tickets are included, with a seasonal Comino swim and boat ride if weather allows.
“Excellent day, good pick up and transfer to port. Very small boat in choppy water smoother on return. Pick up on Gozo waiting excellent informative guide took us through lots of places larger vehicles couldn’t go. Very good lunch included plus wine and water. An excellent day out would recommend highly.”
Cruise Malta’s north coast, then take a bus into Victoria, Gozo, for 75 minutes near the Cittadella. Return by boat to Comino’s Blue Lagoon for swimming and snorkeling before sailing back to Sliema. Bring a towel, sunscreen, and free Comino entry ticket for the 13:30 to 17:30 slot.
“Firstly, the Gozo Tour is a drop off into the centre of the island and then you are told to be back for a certain time. It is not a tour. had we known that we wouldn't have booked. Then you are packed onto the buses like sardines to get back to the boat... Get more buses please. Blue Lagoon was beautiful and worth the trip, even though it was busy it was still beautiful. If you want travel and drinks, this is a great trip but it isn't anything more. Oh and a heads up, only one toilet on the boat and it is very small.”
Take a fast, music-filled powerboat from Sliema to Comino with an English, French, Italian, or Spanish-speaking host. Visit Santa Maria and Crystal Lagoon caves, then spend about four hours swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, or walking near the Blue Lagoon. Captain Johnny has earned praise for his humor and care, but expect a bumpy, sometimes wet ride and heavy crowds.
